Obituary of Matthew Geremia

Geremia, Matthew Enrico Roy. Peacefully, with his parents by his side and family nearby, Matthew entered into his eternal life on Sunday, May 10th, 2015 at Emily's House Children's Hospice in Toronto at the age of 18. Loving son of Bruno and Marlene. Cherished brother of Alexander and Daniel. Will be lovingly remembered by his devoted and caring Nonna Mariella (Nonno Enrico Pre-deceased) and Gramma Donna (Grandad Roy Pre-deceased). Dearly missed by his aunts, Arlene, Judy, Mariarosa (Tony), Patricia and Shari (Griff), uncle Brian and his many beloved cousins and extended family and friends. Especially missed by his special love, Elizabeth. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Emily's House, the SickKids PACT, 7D and Complex Care units, Holland Bloorview and North York General Hospital for the extraordinary care and support. A special thank you to Dr J. Telch, Dr. R. Munn and Dr. R. Kanani. Friends will be received at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.) Markham on Wednesday, May 13th from 2-4 and 6-9. Funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday, May 14th at 11am at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 345 Glad Park Ave., Stouffville. Interment will follow at Stouffville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emily's House Children's Hospice, SickKids Foundation PACT programming and The Family Support Fund at Holland Bloorview
