Obituary of Flora Boasie

BOASIE, Flora Helen - Passed away peacefully on March 26, 2015 at Woodhaven Long Term Care in Markham at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband Mark. Loved mother of Lynn Kenyon and Patricia Huff (Kathryn). Cherished grandmother of Bradley (Nicole), Stephen and Russell Kenyon and great-grandmother of Kylah, Emma, Marlee and Cooper. Flora served on the board of the United Church of Canada and she was a charter and life member of St. Mark's United Church in Scarborough. Flora loved the cottage, curling and her many pets. She will be sorely missed for her optimism and her lively sense of humour. A special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Woodhaven for taking such good care of her. A Memorial Visitation will take place at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amnesty International of Canada or to the SPCA.
