Obituary of Thomas Caskie

CASKIE, Thomas (Tom) Walter - November 1928 - March 2015 Tom died peacefully in hospital surrounded by family and is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda nee Hawtin and his children David, Suzanne (Ari Ketola) and his 7 grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his son Jamie Guy, October 2014. Tom was born in Limavady, Northern Ireland where he grew up on the family farm before owning his own draper shop. Tom moved to Canada in 1958 and met Linda while working at Eaton's in 1961. After his time at Eaton's Tom worked at Maple Leaf Gardens before starting his own printing and advertising business. He dedicated his life to his family, friends and pets and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.) Markham on Saturday, March 28th for visitation from 12noon until time of memorial service in the chapel at 1pm. Reception to follow. Please wear bright colours.
