It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this note to you Marg having heard of Porky's passing. All the great memories come flooding back of sitting at your kitchen table listening to Porky's stories and great wit, invited to lunch and dinner and sometimes even breakfast too due to all our partying the night before. You guys always had an open door to all of us kids when we were young and foolish. I will always cherish the time when I ran the bobcat for a summer job with him as my mentor or the poker games at your place or at stags with him. He seemed so easy going most of the time but boy did he earn my respect and rightly so. I could go on and on. Porky meant a lot to me. To Dawn, Yvonne, Wally and Harvey thank you for letting me be part of your family those many years ago and I wish I could be there with all of you at this very difficult time. You were very fortunate to have such a great dad as you well know. Susan and I are away in New Zealand but our thoughts and prayers will be with you on Saturday. All our love, Susan and Floyd.
