Obituary of Raymond Kenney

Kenney Raymond Leon Born May 29 1926 St Thomas Ontario, Died Nov 17, 2014 Markham Ontario. We all lost our best friend today. Husband to Dawna, brother to Dan (Joan), father to Danny (Shirley), Michael (Lorraine), Terry (Bonnie) & John. Grandfather to Sean, Kara, Ryan, Katelyn (Justin), Shelly & Kristy. Great Grandfather to Julia! He was also blessed with many nieces and nephews. His brother Clark & sister Doreen predeceased him. In his youth Raymond was an accomplished athlete in multiple sports. In his working career he worked his way up to an Executive position at CIBC, retired and had some fun working as a stockbroker before fully retiring to enjoy his family. Friends will be received at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.) Markham on Wednesday, November 19th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church, 3898 Highway 7 East, Unionville on Thursday, November 20th at 10:30am. Cremation to follow. Private family interment will take place at Christ the King Cemetery, Markham. Donation may be made to Alzheimer's Society of York Region.
