Obituary of Janis Garland

Garland, Janis Elizabeth -Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Saturday, September 20, 2014 with her family by her side at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Don for 45 years. Loving mother of Neil Garland (Olia Golubeva), Sara Harvey (Mark) and Adam Garland. Devoted grandmother of Emma and Ryan Harvey and Lillian Garland. Daughter of the late Clifford and Aleatha Woodcock. Sister of John Woodcock (Ann), predeceased by her brother Al (Barbara Woodcock). Janis was a lifelong resident of Markham and co-owner of Dixon-Garland Funeral Home with Don for 41 years. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham on Monday for visitation from 3-5 and 7-9 and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 24th, 2014 at 11am in the Chapel.
