Obituary of Linda Kalinack

In great sadness we announce the passing of Linda Kalinack, peacefully and surrounded by her family on September 16th, 2014, after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Loving mother of Michele (Jamie) Walker and Tracy (David) Kerr, exceedingly adoring Nan to her three perfect grandchildren; Brandon, Autumn and Scot, irreplaceable and devoted sister to Bev and Barry Bowes and Bill Simons. Proud and loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Linda leaves behind many dear and supportive friends made while engaged in numerous varied pursuits and as a passionate teacher of four decades in Toronto and York. Friends will be received at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on September 19, 2014 at 1:00PM with service at 2:00PM, a reception - red wine toast follows. Donations are welcome to the South Lake Regional Health Care Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society.
