Obituary of Bill Williamson

WILLIAMSON WILLIAM HIBBERT Bill Williamson passed away peacefully in his 89th year on Monday, July 28th, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Diane for 58 years, caring father of Wendy (Mark), Janet (Jean-Francois), Donna (Doug) and Rick (Grace). Fondly remembered by his five grandsons Spencer, Robert, Michael, Gordon and Richard. Bill enjoyed a 42-year career at Miller Paving. He was a dependable and devoted family man whose keen wit kept everyone laughing. He loved his air horn collection, trains, air shows and WW II history and shared those passions with many friends along the way. He will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at Dixon-Garland funeral home, 166 Main St. N., (Markham Rd.), Markham on Thursday July 31st, 2014 with visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; brief celebration of life will commence at 7 p.m.
