Obituary of Gloria Allison

Allison: Gloria Lucille (McKay) November 11, 1938 - July 16, 2014 Peacefully following a brave battle with cancer. Gloria, daughter of the late Lucy (Lou) and Ern McKay, is predeceased by her brother Ernie and son Bobby; survived by her husband Ernie, daughter Cathy, son-in-law Shaun, best friend Aileen, many treasured family and honorary family members and many long time neighbours and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly. "Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep…" To honour Gloria's life, please consider donations to Markham-Stouffville Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North (Markham Road), Markham on Saturday, July 19th at 10 am, followed by the service in the Chapel at 12pm.
