Obituary of Wilbert Dean

DEAN, Wilbert Francis - A proud WWII Veteran passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in his 95th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Gladys. Loving father of Karen Brown, grandfather of Chris (Kendra) and great grandfather of Kerrick and Raelynn. He will be missed by his brother Donald and is predeceased by his siblings Wesley, Milton, Muriel, Hazel, Hilliard, Manford and Garnet. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Caledon East Public Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bloomington Gospel Church (www.bloomingtongospel.com), Markham Stouffville Hospital or to the Salvation Army.
