Obituary of John Woods

WOODS, John Stanley - It is with great sadness we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of John on May 5, 2014 at the age of 48. Beloved son of Bob and Pat. Dear brother of Paul (Paula). Uncle of Carolyn, Taylor and Evan. He will be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles, Rosemary and Leon Murray, Jean and Stewart Fowler, his many cousins and longtime friends. Special thanks to John's doctors also the staff at the MacKenzie Health Dialysis Unit. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Friday, May 9, 2014 from 7-9 pm and Saturday, May 10 from 12 pm until the time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 pm. Reception to follow. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the Diabetes Association.
