Obituary of Margaret Johnson

JOHNSON, Margaret Florence (Cameron) In her 98th year, surrounded by the love and gratitude of her family, Margaret joined her husband Harold and children Mary Louise and Paul on May 4th, 2014. She was the daughter of George and Florence Cameron of Barrie and sister of Jack, Agnes and George Jr. (Debbie). Margaret was also the mother of 8 children who tested the limits of her patience on a daily basis but benefitted from her uncompromising love. In addition to Mary Lou and Paul, she was the loving Mother of David (Shirley), Brian (Virginia), Cathy Fielding (Ron), Frank (Christine Bird), Elizabeth and Stephen (Kelley). Grandmother to Marc, Rene (deceased), Robert, Christine, Christopher, Michael, Mary-Anne, Peter, John, Paul, Ellen, Gregory, Thomas, Ian, Paul and Louise, Katie and Scott and great-Grandmother to 11. She was also a much-loved aunt to all the Cameron clan. Margaret was a devout Catholic who lived her life in service to the Church in many ministries. She was a cherished friend to many. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Thursday, May 8 between 10 am and 12:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at St. Patrick's Parish, 5633 Highway #7, Markham. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to ShareLife.
