Obituary of Jim Theakston

Theakston, Thomas James (Jim) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Theakston, aged 81 on April 25, 2014. A very loving, devoted and kind husband of Mary for 61 years. A beloved father to Ted (Sue), Terri (Colin), Cheri (Russ Gregory) and Jimmy (Kelly). Proud grandfather of Kurt (Arlene), Shane (Joanna), Kyle, Tara, Ryan, James and Danae and adored great grandfather to Caleb and Cole. His biggest legacy in life was his family whom he cherished and loved. We will miss him immensely and will always remember him in our hearts. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham on Wednesday April 30, 2014 from1:30 until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Markham Stouffville Hospital.
