Obituary of Donald Hughes

HUGHES, Donald Raymond- It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Hughes at the age of 79. A hard working, loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather; Donald passed away peacefully at the Rebecca House Nursing Home in Barrie with his loving wife Joan, daughters Cheryl (John), Karen (Matt) and son Andy (Melissa) by his side. Donald is survived by 10 grandkids and 6 great-grandkids. Predeceased by daughter Debbie. He will always be in our hearts. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 12 noon until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society.
