Obituary of Patricia Hillcoff

HILLCOFF, Pat - Passed away peacefully on April 15, 2014 after a five year journey through lung disease, including transplant, kidney failure and breast cancer. Pat's courage and strength in the face of these multiple challenges was truly inspirational. Left with a major void are devoted husband, Ken. Son Kevin (Kelli), mother-in-law Evelyn, James (Louise) Reid, Pat (Dan) Balfour, Karyn (Kevin) Bolton, other extended family and so many wonderful friends. We are grateful that Pat has no more battles to fight and can now rest peacefully. Special thanks to all of the doctors, nurses and support staff at Toronto General, especially the lung and dialysis teams for their outstanding care and compassion. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Saturday, April 19 from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Pat and family would encourage everyone to consider becoming an organ donor by enrolling online at beadonor.ca.
