Obituary of Robin Short

Short, Michael ROBIN, March 1 1953. Passed away peacefully and much too young on April 5, 2014. Robin is survived by his son Michael and will be greatly missed by his loving partner Alison, mother Marion (Father Larry predeceased), brother Rick (Bonnie), nieces Kristy (James) and Kelly (Nigel), and Michael's sister Sarah. Robin will be remembered by those with whom he worked in the Toronto Commercial/television industry as an expert sound engineer, as well as those whose music he mixed at his recording studio and his students at Seneca/York Media Studies. He was a great influence on the lives of many with whom he came into contact. Thanks to family and friends who showed loving support and visited during his hospital stay. Thanks also to the caring doctors and nursing staff at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital and Markham Stouffville Hospital. There will be a private family interment. A musical celebration of Robin's life will also be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be welcomed. On-line condolences may be made at dixongarland.com
