Obituary of Robert Scott

SCOTT, Robert W. (Bob) Born in Toronto on April 6, 1929, passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital on February 25, 2014. A graduate of U. of T. Ajax Engineering, he worked for IBM then taught at Seneca College for 26 years. Retired from Toronto to Long Point Beach, Lake Erie where he was involved in preserving the environment. Husband of Lois for 62 years. Father of Cathleen, the late Heather (Gary McClune, Shirley) and Rob (Larkin). Grandfather of Philippe Jolicoeur (Lisa), Sarah McClune, Kieran and Declan Scott. Great-grandfather of Ellie Rose Jolicoeur. Survived by sister Lorine (Harold Pepper) and sister-in-law Frances Brown as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. Markham, Ontario.
