Donnie was not just a neighbor but a cherished part of our lives growing up! Our families have always been close, sharing many moments together- whether it was holidays, dinners or just casual afternoons in the backyard.
Donnie was the type of person who made a difference in the quietest, most meaningful ways. Whether it was bringing over a bowl of homemade soup when you were under the weather or making sure her pasta sauce (which was my favorite) always had a little extra to share. Her thoughtfulness was reflected in the simple gestures—like having a spare key to our home (as I often locked myself out) —and in return, I always liked to thank her with tulips, a small token of appreciation for her big heart!
Donnie was a true friend, and she will be deeply missed, but her spirit of giving and love will live on in the memories I hold dear.
Harm and Stephanie, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Your mom was such an amazing person, and I know how close both of you were with her.
