Uncle Walter was a very talented and learned man. He was always ready to help out. Our Mother's favourite time, was Christmas at the Whitham's, where she couldn't wait for Dan and Uncle Walter to start playing the piano. How she looked forward to singing Christmas carols.
Aunt Shirley and Uncle Walter played Bridge with the Mason's every week, for years. Every second week they would come down to our place, to play. My Mother would serve yummy foods for the card players to eat. I was very fortunate to be able to share in the food and time with the Whithams. Uncle Walter was a wonderful man and I am glad I had the opportunity to know Him. You are All together again❣️

We were so sorry to hear that your father passed- so few left in that generation. Our little neighborhood, just south of Mongolia would not have been complete without your family. I remember one evening coming in your house with Danny and your Dad was reclining in his chair and smoking his pipe- a picture of contentment I will always remember. God bless you on as you lean on Jesus’ arms through these difficult days
