July 19th, 1933 - December 1st, 2024 Passed away peacefully at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on Sunday, December 1st in his 92nd year.
Proud Metro Toronto Police officer and Detective for 38 and a half years
Pre-deceased by his cherished wife of 50 years Dorothy. Dear father of pre-deceased son Douglas. Surviving children Debbie and her husband Ken Barrett, Dianne and her husband Al Reilly, Darlene and her husband Dean Johnson.
Loving grandfather of Marlena (Jason), Brandon, Katie (Shawn), Mathew (Sierra), Dana (Adam) and Brooklyn. Also lovingly remembered by sister Joyce, pre-deceased brother Ken, Lynne Marie and countless friends.
Friends will be received at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. North, Markham (Hwy 48) on Sunday, December 8th at 11:00am - 1:30pm. Funeral service in the chapel immediately following.
A private interment will be held at Dickson Hill Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Eldon's honor.
