Obituary of Margaret Jean Bradley

Margaret Jean Bradley (nee Thompson)

September 22, 1929 - August 26, 2024

Sadly, after a brief illness, Margaret passed away, at Markham Stouffville Hospital , just shy of her 95th birthday.

Predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Howard and her brother, Garnet (1926-2008). Survived by brother-in-law William (Janet). Beloved mother of Peter (Deborah), Carolyn (Mike), and Andrea (Paul). Beloved nanny to Phillip (Shannon), Brandon (Taylor), and Cassandra (Brandon). Great grandma to Franklin. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a long-time resident of Markham and resided at Amica Swan Lake for the past 5 years.  Her favourite past times were curling; she was a member at Bayview Country Club, and bridge; with the local ladies.

Thank you to the staff of Markham-Stouffville Hospital for helping keep mom comfortable in her last few days.

Per Marg’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, donations could be made to Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.  The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
