Passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side at Unionvilla Long Term Care on September 3, 2024 in his 83 rd year. Loving husband of Barbara Kilmer (nee Vent). Beloved father of Shari (Phil) and Jennifer (Ray). Proud Poppa of Nicole, Gabrielle, Erika and Ashlee. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents (Norman and Vivian), brother (Richard) and sister (Susie). Heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Unionvilla LTC for their unwavering support. Friends and family will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North, Markham, on Saturday, September 14, 2024 for visitation from 11am-1pm, Funeral Service at 1pm, with reception to follow at 2pm at Swan Lake Gardens Clubhouse Main Room, 25 Belle Terre Way Markham, ON L6E 2A2. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Unionvilla LTC or Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.
