Obituary of Mary Lyn Gilbert

Mary Lyn Gilbert (Snider)

June 7, 1951 - August 16, 2024

Mary Lyn passed peacefully at home with her family by her side after a lengthy illness that she gracefully endured with strength and dignity. She is survived by her husband Bruce, son Chris (Chasity) and her sister Betty Snider.  Predeceased by her brothers Sammy & Allen Snider. Loving Grandma to Brooklyn, Abigail & Brantley

Mary Lyn was born in Richmond Hill and raised in Buttonville.  At a young age lived on her own in Markham and Stouffville.  She worked at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club and then secured a job at The Township of Markham where she worked for many years. Mary Lyn and Bruce were married on June 7, 1975.  They bought a house in Goodwood in 1979 which is still home.
