Obituary of Wayne Alfred Archambault

Wayne Alfred Archambault

September 16, 1947- June 28, 2024

Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Friday June 28th surrounded by family. Predeceased by his wife Sheila (nee McTaggart) Archambault.  He will be greatly missed by his daughters Christine Archambault (Gianni Rino) and Lesley St. George (Andrew St. George). He was the proud grandfather to Matthew, Quinn, Jacqueline and Pierce. He also leaves behind his longtime partner Anny Ke and daughter Jocy Zhu.

Wayne was born and raised in Montreal West.  He attended Montreal West high school, and McGill University. He spent most of the 1970’s and 1980’s working in Marketing for some of Canada’s most well-known corporations, moving back and forth between Ontario and Quebec until he settled in Markham, Ontario. He later retrained as a Paralegal and owned and operated his own company for many years until he recently retired.  He was passionate about cars, and owned as many as he could. Wayne loved life and his family; despite his illness he fought long and hard to stay even with great pain and suffering. He was a true fighter.  His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he will be greatly missed by many.

There will be a private family viewing and cremation and he will be laid to rest in Montreal later this summer with his wife Sheila. Details to follow.

In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Diabetes foundation of Canada.
