Obituary of Chris Wolski

Christopher (Chris) Julian Wolski

Born July 20, 1957, in Montreal, Chris passed away on June 14, 2024, at Markham Stouffville Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Debbie Wolski; his sons, Chris (Alanna) and Jason (Rebecca); his mother, Irene; his brother, Ches (Michele); and his cherished grandchildren Dylan, George, Evan, Owen, and Holly. He was predeceased by his father, Chester. Chris was also loved by Debbie’s sisters Lyn (deceased), Laurie, Dolores, Honor, Heather, Andrea, and their husbands. He was a dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Chris took joy in the simple things in life: gardening and reading in his backyard, cooking for his family (whether it was barbequing great steaks as only he could, or carving the Thanksgiving turkey), and travelling with his wife. Known for his loyalty and dedication, he worked for Sun Life for 28 years in IT systems development.

The Wolski family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Marcus Butler and his team at Princess Margaret Hospital for their unwavering dedication and care over the past seven years. They were a profound source of hope and strength, making Chris' last few years as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We would also like to thank the nurses and doctors at Markham Stouffville hospital for their care.
