I met Joy at The Markham District High School in the mid 70’s when playing badminton. We became instant friends. Later we joined The Markham Tennis Club where we played for several years. Joy and David were among our circle of Markham friends. The included picture is of Joy and me and other tennis friends taken at Stuart’s and my 50th Wedding Anniversary.

We always celebrated our mutual Birthdays with dinner and a movie. I could always count on Joy to keep me up to date on the latest gossip of the movie stars.

Joy had a calm personality and faced life’s challenges with courage. She was a dear friend and I will miss her deeply.
