Obituary of Jack Walker

WALKER, JACK

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Walker. Jack passed away on May 27^th, 2024, at Southlake Residential Care Village. He is survived by his children: Jason (Rosa), Jennifer, Tim (Sandra), Tammy, and Jennifer Walker; as well as his 3 grandchildren: Carson and Claire Laidlaw, and Mitchell Gebhardt. Jack was born on March 16, 1946, in Salford West, England, to Arthur and May Walker, and is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Faye Walker; his brother, Alan; sister, Anne; and sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Richard Grass. Jack was predeceased in death by his wife, Connie Walker; his sister, Joan and his parents. He will be missed dearly by his family, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The Celebration of Life will take place at St. Patrick’s Parish, 5633 Highway #7, Markham, Ontario on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The Service will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend at www.dixongarland.com. A reception will take place after the funeral mass, at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street N., Markham, Ontario for a time of food and fellowship. Internment will take place on another date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society
