Please accept my sincerest condolences. I always will remèmber Nancy's smile and laugh. I remember the day that I met her: she brought a smile to your face that made it beam. That was in 1970 which only seems like yesterday. Let your memories of Nancy and support of your family and friends give you courage, strength and peace especially during this time of grief.

I had the opportunity to meet Nancy on several occasions through a close mutual friend, Avril Fernley. The one thing I remember about her is how supportive and dedicated she was with not only her family, but with all her friends in their time of need. I also had the chance to meet and work with both her daughter Heather and husband Michael. My sincerest condolences to the family, let's hold her in our hearts for ever and may her memory continue to inspire and uplift us as we navigate this world without her.

Rob and I first met Ernie and Nancy over 50 years ago as new neighbours when they moved just two doors up from us onto Sir Kay Dr. in Markham. We quickly became friends and over the years enjoyed travelling, curling, going to baseball games, spending time at their cottage or our trailer, playing cards and games, watching our kids grow up together and socializing with them at various parties and gatherings. Nancy was a very special friend who had the ability to always listen to my problems and offer good options for me to consider. She was always there for us and generously supported us unconditionally. We will miss her lively spirit, sense of humour and compassion for others. Our condolences, love and support go out to Ernie, Heather, Michael, Charles and Yvonne at this time. Nancy fought a valiant fight to the end and is at peace now.

After knowing Nancy for over 50 years it is so difficult to say goodbye to such a kind, considerate and special friend. We have been through the best and worst of times always there for each other. Our teaching days, our travel days, our cottage days, our curling days, and our party days have given us so many wonderful memories to treasure. We will miss her dearly.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Ernie, Heather and Michael, Charles, and Yvonne.
Love Always Anita and Gord Fellows ❤️

Nancy was a good friend for many years having both of us grown up in Lindsay, attending the senior public and high schools and Peterborough Teachers' College together. Over the years, we enjoyed travelling to the Maritimes, the Caribbean, Europe, and the States. We both fulfilled our ambition of becoming primary school teachers in Lindsay and Pickering. Nancy was a positive person who always saw the best in everyone she met. She was there for her friends offering advice if asked but also being a great listener. It was a pleasure spending time with her and Ernie and their children Charles and Heather at their home in Markham and cottage near Coboconk. I will miss spending time with Nancy but will treasure her friendship and the joy she brought to others.
Rest in peace, dear friend.

Rick and I have truly lost a precious friend! Nancy was a compassionate friend and there for us in good times and bad. She accepted people for who they were and was extremely grateful for everything people did for her. We cherish the times we spent with her and Ernie travelling, spending time at each other’s cottages, and at social get togethers. For many years a group of friends had Christmas and New Years parties with Nancy and Ernie. We will truly miss you, our dear friend!
