Obituary of Kuzman Trgachef
With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Kuzman “Kuze” Trgachef, on May 11th, 2024, at his family home in Markham, Ontario.
Kuze was born on March 15th, 1932, in the village of Bouf, Macedonia. He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Christina, son Jimmy (Marina), adoring granddaughters, Stephanie and Ashley, as well as, sisters, Domnika and Anastasia. Kuze is predeceased by his cherished daughter Suzy, parents, Kata and Fillip, and brother Andrea.
Kuze and his young family immigrated to Canada for a better life in 1964. He was a welder by trade and was most proud of his final landmark project, SkyDome (Rogers Centre). Kuze enjoyed time spent with friends and family, especially his granddaughters, who were his pride and joy.
Proud of his Macedonian heritage, Kuze was a staple in the Macedonian Orthodox Church community in Toronto and Markham. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, old western movies, and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Kuze’s extensive care team that made his final years living at home possible.
Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 4-8 pm.
