Obituary of Anneth Margaret Bergman
Anneth Bergman, at the age of 86, died on Friday, April 26th, at Parkview Home in Stouffville, surrounded by her family. Her husband, Vic Bergman, children Heather and Paul, daughter-in-law, Susan, and treasured grandchildren; Brooke, Courtney, Hanna & Colton, will miss her dearly but know she is resting in peace after battling dementia for the past few years. They extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Parkview Home and Dr. Barclay for the wonderful care provided to Anneth, especially during her final days.
Anneth grew up in Markham with her parents, Cliff (Kip) and Margaret Buffam, her brother, Graham Buffam (deceased), and sister, Barb Wicks. She graduated from Markham District HS before going on to work as a Service Rep for Bell Canada where she met Vic. They raised their family in Etobicoke for 36 years before moving to Stouffville in 2000. Spending time at the cottage on Eagle Lake in Haliburton was one of Anneths favorite things to do. With the constant activity of friends and family dropping by, she thrived.
Anneth will be remembered for being kind and generous, and always the consummate hostess. She loved entertaining. She was a proud Mom of both her children, but even more so of her precious grandchildren. She will miss her Bell girls, and their fun golf get-a-ways. She will especially miss her sister, Barb, her sister-in-law Marie, and her best friend Brenda. Anneth was loved by all that met her, and she will be missed dearly. May she rest in peace.
