Bill was the co-proprietor and President of McArthur Ford in Markham. He accomplished a lot in his 91 one years including serving as president of the Toronto Automobile Dealer Association, member of the Board of Directors and President of the International Automobile Show. He was particularly proud of his volunteer efforts at the TADA and OADA and his part in transitioning the Toronto International Auto Show to the Canadian International Auto Show and its location at the Metro Convention Centre and Skydome.
Bill was a great family man and friend to the many who were lucky to be close to him. He was a big sports fan and his favorites to cheer on were the Leafs, Jays, Browns and Chase Elliot. Bill never lost his sense of humour. He found great pleasure in a good game of bridge and was a magnificent player. Many benefited from his wisdom that he generously shared with all who asked.
