Obituary of Robin Charles Reader

Robin Charles Reader passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital at the age of 76, after living 12 years with COPD. Robin was born in Limehouse, England in 1947, picking up “Mummy’s English” when he joined IBM at 16 but was always a cockney at heart. His knowledge of computers and passion for coins and numismatics will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Robin is survived and will be missed by family and friends, including his siblings June, Jan, Gill and Kevin, his wife Althea, his daughters Chandra and Courtney, and his granddaughters Tasha, Sophie and Cinder. Brother to the late Sherry and son to the late Charles and Doris Reader. We are very grateful to the dedicated staff of Markham Stouffville Hospital for their care and treatment of Robin over the years and in his final days. Visitation will occur on Monday, February 26th from 10-12pm with a short memorial service in the chapel to follow at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home in Markham.
