Obituary of Richard Hanson

RICHARD BERTRAM HANSON
April 20, 1933 - February 10, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bert Hanson on February 10th at the age of 90 years old.

Bert had a long and successful career in the Automotive Industry in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was a long-time member of the Kiwanis Club of East Kildonan. 

Bert had recently relocated from Winnipeg to Markham to live with his son Lance and his family who cherished every day they were able to spend together. He will be greatly missed by his two sons, Geoff and Lance (Collette) and his grandchildren, Cole, Sydney and Beck. He is predeceased by his wife Jean (Gillespie).

A special thanks to the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital and Sunrise Senior Living for the exceptional comfort and care they provided Bert in the final months of his life.
