Passed away on Sunday, January 28th, 2024, in Markham. Beloved husband of Connie for 53 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews Sharon (Walt), Marilyn, Brenda, Bruce, Keri (James) and Ken (Meg), his great nephew George, and his brother in-law and sister in-law Rick and Laurie Chapman. Gary will be missed by his many friends, including lifelong friends from his 37 year career at CIBC. He is predeceased by his parents Stan and Eva, sister Olive (Wally) and brother Don. 

Gary lived a very full life. He loved helping people, belonged to many social committees, was an avid baseball fan and loved animals. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 17th at 1pm in the Chapel of Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. North, Markham, ON, L3P 1Y3. A reception will follow on the lower level. Please make donations in Memory of Gary to your favourite animal charity or charity of your choice.
