Obituary of T. James Beauchamp (Jim)
T. James Beauchamp (Jim) 1931-2024
Peacefully in his 93rd year, Jim passed away in the loving care and company of Louise, his wife of 67 years. Together they shared a deep and abiding faith.
Jim and Louise raised 7 children. Marie (Danny), Chris (Bob), Jim (Barb), Celia (Werner), Deborah, David, and Bob (Lisa). Jim was very proud of his 13 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Brother to MaryLou (Walt) and predeceased by brother Ted (Marg).
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Born in Edam, Saskatchewan, Jim left school at age 15 to provide for his family when his father became ill in 1946. Jim moved to Ontario in 1955 where he met Louise, and they started their grand adventure together. Jim worked primarily in the insurance industry for many years until he stopped working at his last job at age 86.
Jim believed deeply in family, service, integrity, and community. He volunteered in many different roles over his 92 years.
The family extends our deep thanks and appreciation to the many physicians, medical therapists, caregivers, and others who supported Jim over the years.
