William "Bill" Blainey

1960-2023

It is with heavy hearts our family announces the peaceful passing of William (Bill) James Blainey Jr., 63, on Thursday, December 14th at the Toronto General Hospital surrounded by family.  

Those left to mourn his loss are his son, William James Blainey III (girlfriend Danielle Casavecchia); his daughter, Erin Blainey and his partner, Annette Vettese.

The family would like to thank the hospital staff for making Bill comfortable in his final hours.

As per Bill’s final wishes, he has been cremated. There will be a private ceremony, with a celebration of life to follow in the future.

In memory of Bill and in lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed at University Health Network Foundation.
