Condolences to Ardy's family. The ceremony today was a lovely tribute to Ardy. I feel lucky to have known her and had her in my life. Rest in peace Ardy.
I got to know Ardy while working together at the Markham Theatre, while working together she inspired me to get involved with the Markham Village Music festival. I am so grateful for all of the memories I have of this vibrant, sassy, amazing lady. She was a huge part of the community and will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this time.
My dear friend, Ardy was so full of life and joy. She exhumed positive energy with her infectious smile. Our book club, golf and other groups won’t be the same . I’ll miss her sitting next to me on a golf cart. Rest in peace my dear friend,”hun” as you so often used. Condolences to her family that she loved so much.
I first met Ardy in 2012 when I joined CFUW Markham-Unionville. She was so friendly and very welcoming to me as a new member, as she was to others. Ardy was a very active and dedicated person whether it was to CFUW, Markham Theatre, or other events in and around Markham. I was very sorry to hear of her passing. She will be greatly missed. I was saddened to hear of Ardy’s passing. Memories of our days in Thornhill rushed forward. We raised our kids together, leaning on each other as only mothers do.
