Obituary of Martha Turner

Martha Helen Turner (aged 76) of Markham Ontario, passed peacefully on November 12 th , 2023, in the Palliative Care unit at Markham Stouffville Hospital after a fast and furious battle with metastatic lung cancer.

Pre-deceased by her parents George Gregory and Helen Coulter (née Alguire) Turner and her brothers George Gregory Turner and Paul Edward Turner; beloved spouse of Michael John Pasiuk; devoted mother to Lindsay Giroux and Melissa Giroux; stepmother to Chantal Lajeunesse (Sarah, Mathieu, Cody and Brooke); loving sister and Aunt Marty to Donald Turner (Stephanie Hayes), Samantha Turner (Dan and Jacob McBride), George Turner (Tracey, Rory, and Abagail), Jason Turner (Jamie, Landon, and Peyton) and Alison Turner (Colton).

A Memorial Service in Celebration of Martha’s life will be held at St. Philip’s On-The-Hill Anglican Church, 9400 Kennedy Road, Unionville, Ontario at a later date. Cremation has taken place. The family gives heartfelt thanks to Evergreen Hospice Care and both the Oncology and Palliative Care Units at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their impeccable care and support of Martha.
