Obituary of Rosalyn Eleanor Butler

BUTLER, Rosalyn Eleanor – Passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Toronto Western Hospital.  Rosalyn is now reunited with her late husband Doug (1989) and will be deeply missed by her children Julie (Rick), Terri, Tracy (Sebastian), and son-in-law John (Carey).  She was the proud Grandmother to Lisa (Chris), Tammy (Nicola), Cori, Jaime, and Cody (Elyse).  Rosalyn was also the Great-Grandmother to Jesse (Tara), Ty, Austin, Morgan, Marriah, Gavin, Brendan, Alex, Adam, and Great-Great Grandmother to Carson and Maia.  She is also survived by her brother Ron Wood.  Rosalyn will be held dear in the hearts of her family, friends, and to all who knew her.  A memorial visitation will take place at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North, (905) 294-2030 on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 12 noon until 1pm.  Following the visitation, a memorial service for Rosalyn will take place in the Dixon-Garland Chapel at 1 o’clock.  A reception with a light lunch will take place following the service in the funeral home Reception Centre.  Donations in Rosalyn’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be very much appreciated by the family.
