I have such fond memories of Uncle Tibi - especially from my childhood. Visits to Stouffville, the annual Tree Chop, Christmas Day dinner, and of course, the cottage. His default mode was always a smile, a welcoming embrace to everyone, and a great sense of humour. I am saddened and also so grateful for the memories. Hugs to everyone!

To aunt Elaine and the Hary kids and grandkids, I'm so sorry for your immense loss.
What a treasure Uncle Tibor was. So kind, generous, fun and ready to laugh. I'm so grateful that despite the distance, we did get to spend time together on family vacations and visits.
Us Halifax Gillespies will never forget the time Uncle Tibor visited and in one afternoon he had Dad's workshop so impeccably organized and cleaned we could have had lunch on the workbench. Every tool, screw and nail was perfectly placed (I wish I had before and after photos to share). :)
Lifting you all up in prayer.

Tibor was one of the nicest and most decent person I have ever met. He was good to the core. I had the pleasure of working with Tibor as his assistant after just graduating from University. It was my first real job and I was assigned to assist Tibor. He was patient, kind, and honest. He was also a lot of fun to be around. We had a lot of laughs. His goodness extended to his entire family. I miss his laugh and mischievous fun nature. I am sure God has something special planned for Tibor in the spirit life. Good voyage Tibor. See you again one day. All my best… Gordon

I am saddened to learn of Tibor's passing. As a member of St. Patrick's Parish and the Knights of Columbus I knew Tibor as a person of substance, dependability, and integrity. In his business life, Tibor travelled across Canada, as I did in my corporate days... we often said hello to each other in passing, at various airports, as we crossed the country.
My thoughts and prayers are with Elaine and family.
Sincerely, Jack Brill

We are so sad to hear the news of Uncle Tibor's passing. So many fabulous memories of family vacations spent with Uncle Tibor, Aunt Elaine and kids in Ontario!!
I loved that even as an adult, Uncle Tibor always refered to my brother and I as "Laney & Billy" in that beautiful rich accent!
Rest well, Uncle Tibor, You will certainly be missed. xoxo

Hi Jen and the entire family.
Our deepest condolences on your loss. Tibor once invited me to play bridge at his clubhouse at Swan Lake and through him we met a lot of other people. We now play in the Makham seniors club where everyone knew Tibor. What a lively and warm character. I will miss his smile.
Love to you all
Lorraine and Llewelyn

My heartfelt sympathy goes to all of Tibor’s beautiful family, but especially to dear Jenn and Len, Mackenzie and Logan. The love engendered in them by Tibor and Elaine shone a great light on everyone who knew them. Their steadfast devotion and commitment to others in need was always so sincere, humble and generously outpouring. No doubt Tibor is now living the great reward of eternal life with our loving God, who must indeed be very well pleased with such a good and faithful servant. May peace be with all of Tibor’s family who are mourning his departure from their lives.

I met Tibor and Elaine soon after moving to Swan Lake in 2009. I quote, “if you met Tibor once, you not forget him”. This is so true. With his wonderful personality and never ending generosity, he endeared himself to all in his community. I was privileged to assist him with several of his projects. Typical Tibor, he would reward those who helped, but would not take anything for himself.. Such a wonderful person. He was loved and willed be missed by his many friends in Swan Lake.
