Obituary of Charles Clark

Charles Clark (Chuck) of Markham, ON passed away Feb 19, 2023.

Predeceased by his loving wife Midge, sisters Patricia (Don), Myrna (Ron), and brother Larry (Janet). He will be dearly remembered by his children Debbie (Bill), Paul (Kim), Jeff (Shirley) and Diane (Mike). He had a special place in his heart for his granddaughter and caregiver, Kelly. Much loved grandfather of Jason, Alex, Dan, Ian, Kyle, Stephanie, and Kevin. Proud great-grandfather of Michael, Max, Brandon, Axel, Annie and Zoey.

Will be missed by sister-in-law Joyce and her family. Chuck was a kind gentleman known for his smile, quick wit, and puns. He enjoyed his career with Canada Customs and second career as an overseas consultant. Over his long retirement, he sharpened his bridge playing skills, learned to carve, danced, became a karaoke fiend, and doted on his grandkids and great grandkids.

Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road), Markham on Saturday, Feb 25, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life in the Chapel at noon. Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society, the United Way, or a charity of your choice.
