I just found out about your mothers passing and it brought back many memories of the good times at Lake Kenisis. Michael and Mindy my heart goes out to you - Carolyn was a very special lady and times at the lake were always fun times with your mom as the always consumate host.

Sincerest condolences to all. We had the pleasure of working with Carolyn with what was a bit of a chaotic summer of renting out our cottage. The renters were great, Mother Nature not so much and we had technical difficulties. Carolyn was so kind, understanding and funny. We had many conversations during that summer and while we were anxious and upset because things were going sideways, she was the calm voice that put everything into perspective. Although our dealings with her were short lived, we will always be appreciative of everything she did for us. May she rest easy.

Carolyn's warmth and generosity of spirit, will not soon be forgotten. We became friends through our respective work running our cottage rental agencies. We didn't just share referrals, we shared stories and laughs. Her help and encouragement when my sister faced the same cancer she herself had beaten gave us strenghth and hope. So very grateful to have known her. My deepest condolences to her family.

I am very sorry to hear of Carolyn’s passing, deepest sympathies to her immediate and extended family. Sadly I have never had the pleasure of meeting Carolyn in person, but we shared many emails and phone calls over years, as a Redstone cottage owner. We’ve had some interesting exchanges, I will remember her for her wit, her no nonsense approach to dealing with renters and other issues. You will be dearly missed by my friend.

We were very saddened to hear the news of Carolyn’s passing. So many fond memories made up at Redstone. Carolyn’s warmth, sense of humour, love for family and friends plus her strength and courage when faced with adversity is what we’ll remember most. I lost my best friend on Feb. 5, 2023. For decades,
we lived, laughed, loved, danced, cried. Carolyn was a
beautiful soul; caring, compassionate, honest, forgiving,
understanding and trusting.Our relationship weathered some storms
but despite some bumps in the road of life, we managed
to be there for each other and face life's challenges together.
She took each challenge head on with a positive attitude and
determination. Michael, Mindy, Ted & family your loss is
great and I am so deeply sorry. I too now have an unfillable
void in my life. I was blessed to have Carolyn as a friend.

To the Watts family…you can always tell the strength of a person’s character through the power of their smile….and Carolyn had a great one !!! No matter the task or the challenge , her warmth and caring shone through with that smile.

It was with a very Heart that I heard the news of my beloved Carolyn leaving us too early last Sunday.
