Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Sunday January 15, 2023.  Denis is now reunited with his wife Jean and son Gary. He will be missed by his daughter Sandra and her husband Craig. Loving Poppa to his granddaughters Katie and Melissa. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, former associates, golfing buddies at Thornhill Golf and Country Club, and his many friends. A great thank you to the staff and caretakers at Winbourne Long term care home. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home (905) 294-2030 from 2- 5pm.  Denis McClinton's life will be celebrated in the Dixon-Garland Chapel on Monday, January 23rd, 2023 at eleven o'clock.  Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.  Following the interment, a reception for guests will follow in the Dixon-Garland Reception Centre.  If desired, donations in Denis' memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada and would be very much appreciated by the family.
