Dear Vern, Mim, Ed, Betty and all your family members,
We were so sad to hear about Aunt Lois. What great memories I have of her and spending time on the farm as a child. Aunt Lois always had time to chat when we saw each other and she was so good at remembering all of our kids and asking about them. One funny memory I have was one day when your parents came to Vineland for a visit. They arrived before Mom got home from work and I was supposed to have the meal ready. I was fairly young so just learning and had not mastered mashed potatoes yet. Aunt Lois helped me out when I couldn't figure out why they were so gummy (just needed more milk) then praised me for doing such a good job. I always think of her when I make mashed potatoes! She was an encourager.
So sorry we were not able to be with you as you celebrated her life. Thinking of you all and keeping you in our prayers.
