Obituary of Joan Marie LaBrash

Passed away peacefully on November 11, 2022 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her beloved husband

Kelly (2019) and her loving son Bruce (2022). Joan will be deeply missed by her children Michael (Cathy),

Daniel (Betty), Mark, and grandchildren Justin, Kate, Brett, and Kurt.

Joan was born in Antigonish in 1931. She loved Nova Scotia and remained deeply attached to her home

province for the rest of her life. After graduating from college, Joan moved to Toronto and began

working as a registered nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Not long after arriving in Toronto she met Kelly.

They were devoted to each other and were married for 65 wonderful and happy years. After the arrival

of her first son, Joan devoted her time to raising four boys and running a busy household.

Cremation has taken place and Joan will be reunited with Kelly at Christ the King Cemetery.
