Obituary of Bevers Edward Gill
Bevers Edward Gill born 7-2-1922 passed from his earthly life into eternity to his Creator God and his Lord Jesus Christ. He is now exalting in the glory of God and sharing that with his wife, May of 74 years, who predeceased him. Bev’s career as a professional engineer was spent almost entirely with Ontario Hydro. Bev was a pilot in the RCAF during World War II, continuing to serve in the Air Force Reserves for many years. He was involved in serving the community through the Masonic Lodge Kroy chapter. His spiritual faith was primary throughout his life. He spent his retirement with his wife, May, in Markham, Ontario golfing curling and volunteering for Markham Stouffville Hospital for over 20 years. His love, humor, gentleness, quirks, and example will be greatly missed by family and friends. Bev loved life and had 100+ years of good days, kept his tongue from evil, and his lips from deceitful speech. He is survived by 3 children, Bob and Karen (Gill) Gillan, Tom and Denise Gill, Ken and Anne Gill, seven grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.
