STERJOVSKI, Risto “Chris”

Passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 23, 2022. Beloved husband to Ljubica “Lucy” for over 47 years. Adored father to George (Lydia) and Sandy (Chris). Cherished grandfather to Evan, Anthony, Adriana and Daniella. He will be missed by his brothers Vlado and Dragi and their families. Risto was born in Porodin, Macedonia to German and Sevda and moved to Canada in 1969 with his family.

Risto made an impact on the hospitality industry through his outstanding dedication to Wimpy’s Diner, but he is most known for his generosity and kind heart. Anyone who needed help or advice was met with open arms, no matter who they were. Risto’s family is proud to call him the patriarch of their family.

Family and friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North (Markham Road), Markham on Friday October 28^th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will take place the following day at St. Dimitrija Solunski Macedonian Church at  10am. Burial to follow at Highland Hills Cemetery.
