Obituary of Albert Ralph Andrews

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Albert Ralph Andrews, age 76, of Markham Ontario, passed away on October 10, 2022 at the Willows Estate nursing home in Aurora, Ontario.

Albert was born in Upper Gullies, Newfoundland to the late Charles and Stella Andrews on September 26, 1946.  Albert moved to Toronto as a teenager in order to look for employment. He worked as a truck driver for many years including, but not limited to, oil delivery and driving gravel trucks. He enjoyed cheering on his much-loved Toronto Blue Jays and puttering in the yard while watching the birds/wildlife.

Albert is survived by his partner of over 30 Years, Judy Vandeloo of Markham; step-daughter Kate (Michael); son Robert; his brothers Charlie, Gerald (Edwina), Murray (Madonna deceased) and Randy; plus, nieces, a nephew and grandchildren.  He will be missed dearly and lovingly remembered by his friends and family.

Visitation/Reception will be held at Dixon-Garland funeral home, 166 Main Street North, Markham, Ontario on Sunday, October 16, 2022, between 1pm and 3pm.  

Per his request, he will be cremated after the visitation and taken back to his cherished Newfoundland to find his final resting place near his parents.
