Obituary of Marion Jean Galloway

Marion Jean Galloway (nee Richardson) of Markham, ON passed away on Sun., Oct. 2, 2022 at the age of 76.  Loving wife of the late David Galloway.  Beloved mother of Jennifer Czerniak (Eric) and Kimberly Galloway, and cherished Nana to Natalia, Victoria, and Alec Czerniak. Loving sister of Gary Richardson (Laura) of Calgary. She is predeceased by her parents, Rosamond and Paul Richardson.

Known to friends and family as “Mandy”. Mandy grew up in Orillia and North Bay and settled in Markham where she and Dave raised their family and spent their retirement.

Visitation will occur on Wed., Oct. 12 at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North, Markham, ON, L3P 1Y3 from 6pm – 9pm. This will be preceded with a Lions service at 5pm. The funeral and reception will be held at Grace Anglican Church at 19 Parkway Ave., Markham, ON, L3P 2E9 on Fri., Oct. 14 at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer Society of York Region.
