Zvart Stamboulian

November 9, 1926 - September 29, 2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Zvart Stamboulian on September 29th at Markham-Stouffville Hospital with family by her side. Those left to mourn her loss are her children, Dikran (Seta), Ani (late Antoine), late Mgrditch, Libarid (Silva), Aram (Lynda); her grandchildren Maral, Tamar and Armen (Naira), Melina (Matthew) and Karina (Naazir), Raffi and Sevan (Michelle), Anush (Steve), Aram Jr. and Ohan; and her great-grandchildren Talar and Karoun, Tsolina, Michael and Magnus, Sofia and Milena, Zaria, Yeva and Arpi, Ariane and Amelie.

She leaves this world to join her parents, Haig and Valentin Stamboulian, her late husband Antranig, her late brothers Hovannes, Garo, Hagop, and Vartkes; and her loving son, Mgrditch.

Visitation to be held at St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church, 45 Hallcrown Place, North York, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service to follow at 3 p.m.

Burial to take place at Elmwood Cemetery, 6150 Highway 7 (between Markham Road and Ninth Line), following the service.

Gathering for Honourary Meal at Paramount Restaurant (7720 Markham Road), following the burial.

Donations may be made online in honour of Zvart Stamboulian to the Canadian Red Cross.

Donations can also be made in person during visitation hours to St. Mary’s Church or the Armenian Relief Society.
